The Adventure Pack

Wesley rolled around in the grass like he was making a snow-angel today without the snow.  He wasn't as quick to hop up as Rucksack was yesterday but I didn't see any unsavory smears on his coat when he finally did come back over to me.  Meanwhile, Rucksack wandered around, hopping onto big rocks and looking into the distance.  Coco and Benny had a good romp together at the tail end of our hike.  Benny always gets a burst of playful energy when he's off-leash during the last 15 minutes or so of our hike, and Coco is in the mood to play all the time.

The Play Pack

Oscar played keep-away from Benny with a stick that Benny originally started out with.  Meanwhile, Maverick was hiding under the tree stump and barking at my foot when I poked it into the entrance, much like he barks at Coco when she sticks her nose in.  After that, we walked across the park and the pack met some acquaintances, old and new.  There's a plyaful pup named Niles who we've met a few times before and he was all about licking Benny's face.  I was surprised when Benny actually growled at Niles and backed away instead of mouthing playfully at him in turn.  Niles wasn't quick to take the hint and kept following Benny around and licking at his face while Benny kept dodging away and grumbling at him, until Niles finally got distracted and went to run around with some other pups.
