The Adventure Pack

We made pretty good time on our way up the First Flatiron again today, and met several friendly pups along the way.  There was one in particular, who looked like a Corgi mix, who ran right into the middle of Coco, Benny, Rucksack, and Oliver with his tail wagging and tongue licking.  Oliver gave a little grumble to let the pup know not to trample over him, and then everyone proceeded to sniff and say hello.

The Play Pack

Maverick played peek-a-boo in the stump today, with Coco and Benny running around to see where he went.  Coco mustered up the courage to slip under the stump with him and then the two of them stood face-to-face and barked at each other for a minute, "My stump!" "No, my stump!" "No, mine!", until Coco gave in and came out.  There wasn't any tone of malice in their barking at one another - they just seemed to want to see who had the stronger will.  Maverick popped his head out to watch Coco go and then dove back in when he noticed me looking at him.  Meanwhile, Benny was standing outside the hole watching and Oscar was running around nearby with a stick, trying to get the attention of some other dogs.
