The Adventure Pack

Toskey, Benny, Coco, and Rucksack were all on different pages at the beginning of today's hike.  They were all very interested in sniffing but there were all different spots that caught their attention at any given moment.  Once we got moving, though, we made good progress and went well up the First Flatiron.  We took a water break when we reached a point where the trail turns more into a rock climb and then turned around and headed back down.

The Play Pack

Maverick was back with us today after being away for the past couple weeks.  He immediately trotted over to his favorite place at the park - the hollow tree stump.  I was surprised, however, when he didn't play his usual game of peek-a-boo and instead just sniffed all around the outside of it and nibbled on some grass.  Oscar had fun playing with a couple Boston Terriers named Bill and Hilary.  They danced around together underneath a picnic table for a good long while.  Coco chased tennis balls and ran around a bit with a 1-year-old Great Dane.  Benny ran around with the pup, too, but then yelped and came running when his paw got stepped on.  He went back over a little while later when Coco was rolling around in the dirt, to nibble at her legs.
