The Adventure Pack

Benny is starting to take after his packmates with the stick carrying.  Usually, he just nibbles at the sticks his packmates find, bt today he grabbed one for himself right at the beginning of the hike and carried it along for a good stretch.  Coco and Rucksack each tried to steal it from him, but I had them leave it to him because he seemed proud to be doing a job.  Later in the hike, Toskey discovered a small patch of snow at the base of the Third Flatiron that, amazingly, has not yet melted.  Benny followed her to it and they both had several mouthsful.  I brought Coco and Rucksack over (who were both on leash at the time) and let them munch on some snow, too.

The Play Pack

It was a dust storm at the park today.  Oscar didn't mind his coat getting infused with dust as he happily played lots of fetch.  Benny seemed less enthused about the conditions and mostly just hung out near me, squinting at the dusty breeze.  He played a bit of catch here and there.  After catching the ball, he just dropped it in place and let Oscar swipe it from under him.
