The Adventure Pack

Rucksack was back to his old habit of carrying the biggest stick he could find.  He drew several comments from impressed and amused hikers we passed.  One quipped, "He found a tree!"  Oliver was much more friendly today than he was last Thursday.  He greeted several dogs and people by trotting up to them pleasantly.  Benny wandered around the trail, following where his nose took him and nibbling at snow and plants.

The Play Pack

Oscar managed to beat Coco to some tennis balls I threw for them.  I got a second ball and both of them chased them for a while.  Maverick hung out nearby but didn't go for the tennis balls today.  He was in more of a watching mood.  Later on, Coco dug a little patch of dirt up and lied down with her head in it.  Benny came over and nibbled at her face while she proceeded to roll onto her side and paw at his head.  Oscar wanted to know what was going on so he came over and started jumping around Coco's face while she lied there and mouthed at him.
