The Adventure Pack

Coco enjoyed running around the trails today so much she was hesitant to come back, keeping a few yards away and constantly trying to engage her packmates in play.  Wesley and Benny each chased her around a bit, in turn.  There wasn't enough snow for Wesley to make snow-angels today, but Benny still managed to gnaw on some icy chunks of snow that he picked off the trail.

The Play Pack

Maverick negotiated with a 2-month Husky puppy who wanted to play.  They stood a few feet apart, watching each other, each occassionally giving a bark or hopping slightly.  They never broke into all-out play, but it was a lot of fun to watch nonetheless.  Oscar made friends with a big dog with long, red fur and white markings named Tula.  Tula was a great play partner for him - she bowed a lot and dodged him as he repeatedly flung his body at her.  Benny was very mellow today and mostly just wandered around, but he did chase Maverick around the tree stupms and later he had a little run with a Husky mix toward the end of our visit.
