The Adventure Pack

The wind was wild today!  At one point, when I felt a big gust, I saw Wesley trotting straight along the trail in front of me yet sliding from one side of the trail to the other as the wind pushed him.  Rucksack grabbed up a twig early on in the hike and when Benny tried to steal it, it snapped in two.  Benny paraded around with his half while Rucksack chewed the remainder apart and left it behind.  Coco was particularly interested in sniffing the sign posts we crossed.  She pressed her nose right to them and spent a couple minutes sniffing every inch of the base.  Wesley found some mostly-untouched snow near the trail and made a doggy-snow-angel.

The Play Pack

The park was empty save for one Husky/German Shepherd mix who ran with Benny and Coco when we first got to the park.  Meanwhil, Oso wandered off to the far fence to sniff around.  After the other visitor left, the pack played amongst themselves and had a great time.  Benny and Oso tried to tackle each other.  Oso and Coco did a lot a bowing and short spurts of chasing.  Coco and Benny played keep-away back and forth with a rope toy.  By the time we left, a few other dogs had shown up but the pack was too busy with each other to pay them much mind.
