The Adventure Pack

We came across a cute little snowman along the trails today and the pack immediately took interest.  Coco backed up and watched it warily, as if it were going to spring to life at any moment.  Rucksack went right up and gave it a good sniff.   Benny sniffed at it for a bit and then pawed at it, taking out a chunk from the back of its head.  After seeing her packmates sniffing it without any reaction from the snowman, she came over and gave it a good sniff, too.  On our return leg, I noticed that another dog apparently decided to pee on it.  Poor snowman.

The Play Pack

There was only one puppy at the park when we first showed up and he was shy and not that interested in playing, but several other dogs came shortly afterward.  Benny played with a black Lab/Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix who kept jumping up and leaning on Benny's back or shoulders while Benny arched his head back and gnawed at him.  Oscar tried to get in on it but I was concerned about him getting stepped on because the other two weren't paying him any mind, so I got Oscar's attention and we played fetch for a bit.  Later on, Benny and Oscar played keep-away with a stick.  Benny started out with it but then Oscar made a quick move and snatched it out of Benny's mouth.
