The Adventure Pack

Benny tried to get his packmates to run with him by nudging them with his nose and then turning and bolting.  Wesley ignored him for a while but then eventually went after him.  Wesley ended up flopping down in a snow bank and letting Benny mouth at his neck for a minute before hopping up with a grunt to let Benny know he'd had enough.  Rucksack would have chased Benny around as well but he was on leash when Benny was trying to taunt him into it.  We came across a few other dogs on the trails today and everyone was friendly.  Oliver started each greeting with a short barrage of barks but then settled down and just went up and sniffed the other dogs.

The Play Pack

Wesley rolled around more in the snow at the park today.  I started throwing snowballs to distract Coco so she'd leave her tennis ball for me to pick up and Wesley came over and wanted to catch snowballs, too.  Then Benny saw and I threw a few to him.  Maverick did more running around today than usual.  First, he ran with Benny.  Later on, he hid under the tree while Benny and Coco ran around it trying to figure out where he was.  After a couple minutes, he popped out and ran around with Coco and Benny chasing after him.  Meanwhile, Wesley was sitting at my side getting pet.  After a bit of chasing, when Maverick wanted to stop, he turned to face his packmates and barked.  Coco took exception and started barking back and then Benny started hopping around and woofing so I interrupted and made them calm down and sit.  After they were calm, they all got treats.
