The Adventure Pack

Toskey was back in the pack today after her holiday break; she and her packmates were happy to see each other.  Rucksack walked alongside Toskey as they both did a lot of sniffing off the side of the path.  Mogul only veered off occasionally and it was always to leave a scent mark and then kick up some dirt.  Coco was great today and very friendly when a woman came over to us to say hello to all the pups.  Sometimes Coco dodges strangers like it's a game of chase but today she walked up very calmly to sniff and get a pat on the head.  Her packmates all did in kind.

The Play Pack

Benny played keep-away with a nylon frisbee from another dog at the park today and I was impressed to see that he's starting to develop some moves along with better coordination.  He's done a lot of growing in his first year-and-a-half and it's taken him awhile for his athleticism to catch up with his size.  Maverick chased a ball that I kicked around for him for a bit.  Later on, he and Benny played peek-a-boo around the hollow tree stumps.  Mogul was content to sniff around and then lie in the sun for most of the visit.
