The Adventure Pack

Coco, Benny, Wesley, and Rucksack were all very good on the hike today.  We practiced sitting politely by the side of the trail and letting other dogs pass without swarming around them and everyone did a good job each of the 3 or 4 times we did it.  Coco did get a little worked up when a jogger stopped with his dog a few yards away to chat for a minute but she stayed with me after her initial attempt to pull me over to them.

The Play Pack

A little Pointer puppy tried playing with Maverick and kept running around him, barking.  Maverick mostly just stood and stared at the puppy, but responded with a playful hop and bark a few times.  Benny played a lot with a 2-year old Swiss Mountain Dog.  They had very similar styles - a lot of rolling their heads into each others' shoulders, nibbling at front legs, and mouthing one anothers' necks, with an occassional paw planted on the other's shoulder or face.
