The Adventure Pack

Toward the end of today's hike, Mogul started waiting behind for a little while and then bounding down the hill past me.  Benny got excited and hopped around goofily when Mogul came running by.  Then Mogul waited again as we headed further back down the trail, and then he came running up again.  Oliver wasn't as impressed as Benny by Mogul's playful behavior, as he just trotted alongside me.

The Play Pack

Maverick was very vocal when we approached the park entrance because a group of dogs was playing right around that area.  I had him stop and settle down a few times as we walked over.  Once we enetered, I let him off the leash and he hopped off with a young pup following at his heels.  A black Lab also chased after him and then failed in an attempt to hurdle over Maverick.  Maverick tumbled into the mud and then made his way to a less busy part of the park.  Our old packmate Daisy was at the park today and Coco and Benny ran around with her a bit.  Coco was ansy and started frantically tossing around sticks when I didn't throw the tennis ball for her for a little while.  Mogul hopped around breifly with a dog who had very similar coloring to him but a shorter coat.
