The Adventure Pack

Mogul discovered a tennis ball buried in the snow along the trails today and proceeded to bat it around playfully while his packmates looked on with excitement.  Coco whined and shivered from her excitement and jealousy at Mogul's lucky find. A bit later on, when Mogul left it behind, Benny scooped it up and carried it with us a short way further.  Rucksack wasn't quite as interested in the ball as his packmates but he was very excited to meet a Lab who passed us shortly afterward.

The Play Pack

Coco did less fetching and more chasing with other dogs today than usual.  Benny also did some chasing alongside Coonhound.  Their playmate was a tan and brown, medium haired pup who led them on a good, long run in big circles and figure 8s.  Mogul chased and batted around a tennis ball a bit - I think the ball he found on the trails got him going on a ball kick today.  After wandering the park a bit, Maverick headed to his favorite hide-out.  After a long while, he came out and ran around with a small dog who looked like an Australian Cattle Dog/Jack Russel Terrier mix and then drew him back to the tree stumps to have fun weaving in and out amongst them.
