The Adventure Pack

Wesley was friendly again today with the couple pups we passed on the trail.  It seems his grumpy mood from last Friday has passed.  I tried giving him a stick to carry since he seemed to enjoy that last week but he dropped it in seconds and left it behind.  Coco was inspired to grab up another stick a few moments later.  Benny came over to chew on the stick and Coco held it out for him and let him go at it.  It was really sweet how she shared it.  Oliver followed Benny around for most of the hike.  They stopped to sniff off the side of the trail occassionally and then when I whsitled to them, Benny came galloping and Oliver hopped along behind him.

The Play Pack

Coco was all about fetch today and she's gotten really good at bringing the ball right back to me.  Sometimes she even walks around behind me, stands at my side, and drops the ball right at my feet!  She also played with a young black Lab who chased her while she fetched the tennis ball and then started wrestling around with her.  Benny was pretty mellow at the park.  He caught some tennis balls that I threw to him and chased a couple down when he missed them.  He tried to play keep-away from Coco with a stick but she was too interested in chasing tennis balls to pay attention to him.  Maverick was also pretty mellow.  He hung out around people at the park.  He let some of them pet him but with others he was more standoffish - he'd stand just out of reach and stare at them and as if he wanted their attention but then he backed away when they reached down.
