The Adventure Pack

Benny and Oliver were excited to see their neighbors on the trails today.  They were two other Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Benny was very happy to say hello.  Oliver was more interested in saying hi to the humans.  Rucksack also got worked up alongside his packmates.  Benny and one of his friends wrestled around a bit and Rucksack started running around to see if anyone would chase him.  He got the attention of the other Ridgeback and they had a short run together that involved an athletic leap over a large fallen tree trunk.  I picked Oliver up while the big dogs played so he wouldn't get stepped on and he was perfectly content being in my arms rather than on the ground.

The Play Pack

Benny chewed at a nylon frisbee a bit but couldn't entice Coco to chase him for it.  Coco was more interested in playing fetch, as was Maverick.  Maverick was more bold than usual today and ran after several throws even though Coco went after them, too.  I made a point to throw a few so he could get to them first, to encourage his outgoing attitude today.  Later on, a 4-month Staffordshire Terrier pup played relentlessly with Coco.  He kept running up and throwing his weight against her, then spinning around to hip-check her.  Coco proceeded to chase him and knock him around a bit and then moments later he'd come back for more.
