The Adventure Pack

The pack was very well behaved on today's hike.  The dogs have been getting a bit over-excited when passing other pups on the trails lately so I made a point to have them sit at the edge of the trail with me each time I saw another dog heading up the trail toward us.  Rucksack, Coco, Toskey, and Mogul all sat and waited very patiently while the other dogs passed by.  Coco stood up, alert, when one dog ran by with a look like he wanted to play, but she sat back down when I told her to and let him pass.  I was very proud of them all!

The Play Pack

Cooper was a bit more social today and instead of staying stuck to my side and following me every step I took, he wandered around with various other dogs.  He and Benny played a little keep-away with each other over a twig.  Maverick hopped around with a young yellow Lab briefly and chased a ball around a bit.  He came to me a couple different times when I called him today, instead of of staring at me.  Mogul lounged in the middle of the park and watched everyone else, and got up to greet new dogs whenever they came by.
