Adventure Pack
Rucksack found a small chunk of wood to carry along with us on the trails again today, but he decided it wasn't quite worth bringing back with us so he left it behind on the Mesa trail. Thompson and Roger Roger both wandered through the brush a bit, while Milo followed the trail today just behind the rest of the group.

Benny and Oliver saw a neighbor on the trails this morning, who commented on how much calmer quieter Oliver was on the trail compared to when he's guarding his house. Another passing hiker fececiously thanked Oliver for watering the trail, as he paused every ten feet or so to mark rock after rock. Rucksack and Roger Roger didn't find any pinecones or sticks that caught their eyes today, and were content to just trot along the trail on a beautiful day.

Adventure Pack
Roger Roger and Benny had some fun running alongside each other on the trails today. Roger Roger enjoyed trying to chew on Benny's ears while Benny leapt and dodged around him. Rucksack found a stick to haul for a portion of the hike, but left it behind after getting distracted when he and Milo discovered something interesting to sniff in the brush.

Milo, Rucksack, Roger Roger, and Benny all enjoyed frequent breaks to sniff out vrious clumps of grass on our way along the trail this morning. Each of them was first to pick out at least one spot that the rest of the pack then decided was worth more through investigation. We came across a pair of white-coated Huskies early on in our hike whom we've encountered before, and every sniffed friendly greetings before we headed our separate ways.

Oliver and Benny trotted along close with Rucksack and Roger Roger as we made our way up the mountain. We didn't see many other dogs today, but Benny made a point to make friends with several of the humans we passed by.

Oliver led the way for much of our our hike up the mountain this morning, and Benny kept up well with the group. There are a lot of pinecones lying around the trails and I kicked a few as we walked by to see whether Rucksack or Roger Roger had any interest in them. They darted for them immediately, but then quickly lost interst. However, I eventually found a couple nice, big, intact ones that held their interests and they carried them along for a ...

Milo and Benny explored the scents along the trail together today. They hung back a little to investigate to their satisfaction but didn't lag too far behind. Meanwhile, Roger Roger found a small stick to chew and carry along for a while. Rucksack didn't haul anything today, but he enjoyed checking out some of the odorous spots that his packmates discovered.

Milo wandered into the brush for a few minutes on our way up the trail this morning. I tracked him from the sounds of rusting and his tags clinking as he walked through deep cover about ten yards over from the trail, until he popped out from the foliage and rejoined the group. Benny got attention from a woman who was particularly fond of Ridgebacks, though Roger Roger was quick to nudge his way in and steal some attention as well. Rucskack hiked r...

Adventure Pack
Rucksack, Roger Roger, and Benny all got soaked on our hike this morning, but they didn't seem to mind aside from the occasional pause to shake it off. Rucksack became intensely alert when he noticed a deer nearby. Roger Roger saw it a minute later and ran it off. Benny started to follow his packmate but came back immediately when I called. When Roger Roger made his way back to the group, he spent the remainder of his time on the leash.
