Adventure Pack
Benny nibbled Mamacita's cheeks as we made our way to Martin Park to start today's outing. Milo usually receives a lot of the attention from Benny so I wonder whether he felt jealous. Isaac was raring to go and leapt out of the packmobile with enthusiasm. Once we got going, the pack did a bit of sniffing around but we kept up a pretty good pace and made it further down the Bear Creek Path than usual.

Adventure Pack
Roger Roger was very interested in Benny today and kept nibbling his chin as they walked side-by-side. Benny seemed to appreciate the attention and was in a more energetic and bouncy mood than usual. As we walked, Oliver took the lead at my right side while Rucksack and Sputnik practiced yielding the position to their little packmate instead of bowling over him to take the lead. Toward the end of our walk, Sputnik got into a playful mood and leapt...

Adventure Pack
Aside from the high winds, today's walk was pretty unevetful. Thompson and Milo both marked a few spots here and there along the way, but not with the determination they sometimes have. Roger Roger, Rucksack, and Mamacita all trotted along pleasantly. Rucksack didn't zero in on the ears of any of his packmates.

Adventure Pack
Today it was Oliver who received the ear-cleaning treatment from Rucksack. Toward the end of our walk - which is usually when this particular mood strikes Rucksack - he started hovering over his little packmate and leaning down to lick around his ears. Oliver didn't seem to mind, as his other packmates don't seem to mind either. Meanwhile, Sputnik and Roger Roger, who have both had some on-and-off trouble behaving nicely toward passing dogs, were ...

Adventure Pack
Everyone found one area alongside the path to be especially interesting today. Roger Roger was the first to start sniffing. Rucksack and Mamacita soon came over to check things out. Then, Benny stepped over to the side of the trail. It seemed like Milo wasn't interested, but just then he walked over and slipped underneath Benny to get a closer sniff.

Rucksack had renewed interest in licking Milo's ears as we walked today. I wonder what about Milo's ears draws his attention so singlemindedly when he gets into the mood to do that. Benny and Mamacita trotted along happily without any ear-licking. Roger Roger showed a bit of self-control in his potty habits by actually walking to the side of the trail to relieve himself instead of just squatting in the sidewalk mid-stride as he typically does.

Adventure Pack
Roger Roger, Sputnik, and Rucksack all spent a good deal of our walk carefully sniffing out spots of insterest alongside the path. Benny waited patiently for them to fulfill their curiosity but didn't join in himself.

Sadie made friends with a small dog by the name Pepper, and the two of them raced through the park together and wrestled around enthusiastically. Meanwhile, Milo made friends with a black Lab and le...

Adventure Pack
The pack wasn't quite on the same page today. With Rucksack intent on heading off the side of the path to explore, Roger Roger frequently stopping and trying to decide whether or not he had to poop, Milo making frequent stops to make scent marks, and Mamacita just interested in keeping moving, it felt like everyone wanted to go in different directions.

Adventure Pack
Rucksack seemed to have just discovered the existence of his packmate Oliver today, and spent much of the walk hovering around him, sniffing him, and even dropping into a play-bow in front of him. Oliver didn't return the attention and just kept walking. Roger Roger was a bit worked up at the beginning of the walk and jumped around on Sputnik, but he soon settled into a comfortable pace alongside Benny. Sputnik has been doing a great job of keepin...

Adventure Pack
Milo didn't have Thompson to compete with over scent-marking today but he seemed to be trying for a personal best as he made remarkably frequent stops along the side of the path today. We passed a lot of other dogs during our walk and Rucksack strained at the leash to let me know he wanted to go say hello. Benny chose the opposite approach and stopped in place in the hopes that they would come to him. Roger Roger held his tongue today even when pa...
