The trail was pretty empty again today, probably due to the snowy/rainy weather.  Rucksack and Milo didn't mind at all as they still went for a dip in the pond together.  Roger Roger and Mamacita were both eager to get going and pulled a bit on their leashes today, which is unusual for both of them.

Sputnik was visibly uncomfortable about the wind blowing in his face as we walked today.  Oliver is so low to the ground that it didn't really effect him.  Rucksack, Roger Roger, and Benny all took it in stride.  The trail was sparsely traveled, probably do to the wind, but the pack happily greeted the few dogs we came across.

Milo and Rucksack had a fun time running side-by-side through the stream by the trail today and dodging around with each other.  Roger Roger did a pretty good job of containing himself during the latter part of the hike after he found a stick to carry, which kept him occupied.  Benny lingered behind a few times to sniff around and then ran full-speed to catch up after looking up and realizing how far behind he was.  Mamacita was a bit spooked by a bi...

Rucksack and Milo had a fun time in the pond at the beginning of our hike today.  Meanwhile, Mamacita and Roger Roger wrestled around for a bit and Benny walked along tentatively at the edge of the water.  Later on, Rucksack found a tennis ball that I threw for him every now and then as we made our way along the trail.  Milo sniffed out a spot that proved to gain the interest of the rest of the pack and they all spent a minute giving it a thorough in...

Benny and Oliver started off the hike by wandering around and following their noses into the field to either side of the trail.  After some initial scouting, Oliver kept up with the pack better than he had Tuesday.  Later on, Rucksack and Roger Roger took a turn off-leash and Roger Roger did a much better job of behaving himself.  He trotted alongside his brother without constantly barking and biting at his ankles, which I'm sure Rucksack appreciated...

Milo took a swim in the pond today while Rucksack and Roger Roger splashed along in the shallows.  Roger Roger couldn't resist the urge to harass his brother so he ended up back on the leash before very long.  Thompson was very eager to get moving and pulled a lot of the time today.  Mamacita behaved herself well and didn't get upset about any of the joggers who passed us.

Oliver took his time to sniff out spots of interest along the trail, then smiled wide as he ran to catch up with the rest of the pack.  Benny lingered about halfway back between Oliver and the pack, occasionally circling back to check out whatever scents Oliver had discovered.  Meanwhile, Sputnik, Roger Roger, and Rucksack were all walking very nicely with me and made pleasant greetings with a couple different dogs whom we came upon.
