Adventure Pack
Oliver lingered behind a lot during the first part of our hike this morning, but eventually took a place amidst his packmates. Meanwhile, Chunk was at the head of the pack and led the way to greet passers-by. Rucksack and Chelsea soon followed, and then Yoda, Roger Roger, and Benny would make their greetings as we passed. Then Oliver would take a break from sniffing around for a moment and say hello before catching up with the rest of the group.

Adventure Pack
Rucksack had fun wiggling his way down the bank in the snow again. Meanwhile, Yoda sniffed all around off the trail with Chunk following. Yoda burst out for a couple big runs that drew Rucksack, Chunk, and Chelsea all along for the chase. Milo trotted along right behind me for the duration of the hike. Roger Roger spent some time off leash at first but was harassing Chunk too much so he ended up spending most of the time on-leash at my side....

Adventure Pack
Chelsea and Yoda joined the pack at CU South this morning and fit right into the group. Chelsea sniffed little Oliver curiously every now and then. Yoda walked with Roger Roger at my side. Meanwhile, Rucksack was enjoying wiggling on his back in the snow. It was especially funny when he did it along the bank of the stream and slid down it. Benny and Rucksack both eagerly greeted passers-by. Oliver started off the hike lingering b...

Happy New Year!
Adventure Pack
Benny was ecstatic to rejoin his friends after his holiday vacation, and gave Milo as enthusiastic of a greeting as ever when he first hopped into the car. On the trails, everyone was feeling happy and playful. Roger Roger found a tennis ball and played keep away from Rucksack. Milo ran through the snow and along the trail just for the fun of it. Benny bowed and leaped around playfully when greeting dogs who...

Adventure Pack
Thompson and Milo jogged up ahead at the start of our hike to greet some friendly dogs. After we all passed by each other, Thompson went for a run through the snowy brush while Milo trotted along behind me and Isaac. Isaac was in a snappy herding mood when we first set out so he stayed on the leash.

Ruffers was quickly making friends at the park as usual, and kept busy with bowing, doding, chasing, and occasional...

Thompson and Milo took the far flanks at either side of me as we walked along Bear Creek this afternoon, and each took advantage of their position to scoop up a few mouths full of snow along the way. I was glad to see that Sputnik didn't growl at any of the dogs we passed today, even when a couple of them barked at us. Isaac followed dutifully behind me for the duration of the walk, with Ruffers just ahead of him. Mamacita was mellow for most of the ti...

Adventure Pack
Isaac was pretty wound up when we hit the trails this morning. He kept racing by Milo and Dexter and nipping at them like he was trying to herd them. It got to be a bit much and so he spent the latter part of the outing on leash. Meanwhile, Milo was making friends with all the dogs we passed. When Isaac was racing around, Dexter was a bit worked up and pulled at the leash, but later on he settled into a nice pace at my side.

Adventure Pack
Rucksack found a nice, gnarly stick that he carried for a short while. Roger Roger snatched it up when Rucksack left it behind to sniff around a bit. Later on in the hike, Rucksack very cleverly grabbed another, less interesting stick and chewed it in front of Roger Roger for a few seconds. Then, he set the stick down in front of Roger Roger, who immediately dropped his stick and pounced on it. As Roger Roger dove for the lesser stick, Rucks...

Adventure Pack
Rucksack and Roger had a lot of fun playing on the snowy trails this morning. Roger Roger got a little too worked up and started going after Rucksack's legs every now and then, but listened and backed off when I interrupted him. Mostly, he had fun playing keep-away from Rucksack with sticks and pinecones while Rucksack chased after him.

Dexter was a bit hesitant to hop in the car again today, like he was when he ...

Adventure Pack
We met a very playful pup along the trail today. He greeted Rucksack, Milo, and Roger Roger enthusiastically. He and Roger Roger immediately hit it off and had fun chasing each other up and down the trail, with occasional diversions to see if Milo or Rucksack were interested in joining the fun. Milo gave a little effort but couldn't keep up with the young ones. Rucksack was taking his turn on leash and although he was excited whenever our ne...
