Roger Roger joined his brother Rucksack in the pack today as we walked the Boulder Creek Path starting at the west end of town.  Roger Roger did a great job of sticking alongside his packmates and staying on a loose leash throughout our walk.  His brother Rucksack required occasional reminders to slow down a bit and stop trying to get ahead.  Milo, Benny, and Coco all walked very well.  As we went, Roger Roger sidled up to each of his packmates ...

We met up with our old packmate Wesley and his dad Todd on the trails today!  Coco and Benny were both extremely excited to greet their friend.  The two of them wiggled uncontrollably while nosing and licking at Wesley's face, as Wesley stood in the middle enjoying all the attention.  Milo and Wesley don't know each other so they weren't as worked up about saying hello, but they were pleasant with one another.  We stuck to the lower trails that ...

Adventure Pack

Coco has taken a liking to Sputnik even though she usually doesn't have a lot of patience for pups.  The two of them had a great time running around together on the trails, dodging around trees and bushes, and splashing through the creek.  Benny and Oliver followed close behind the rest of us during their off-leash time on the way down.  Benny was much better about keeping up today without rearing back stubbornly.

Milo was the most excited to hop into the creek today, while Coco was more interested in running through the brush and Osito just sniffed around the water's edge.  On our way back down, Osito and Coco took more advantage of the creek as we passed along it at a different point; but Milo was the one who really wanted to linger and it took some coaxing to get him to come along.

Sputnik, Coco, Benny, and Oliver all kept up a brisk pace on today's outing.  Benny did try to stall a couple times, but then picked back up and continued on without too much resistance.

Rucksack's little brother Roger Roger joined the pack for this morning's hike in his big brother's place.  Coco, Benny, and Milo welcomed the new addition and everyone got along well.  Roger Roger was more tame in his greetings than many puppies his age (6 months) so even Coco - who is quick to correct over-excited pups who get in her face - didn't have any complaints.  We didn't linger at the creek for as long today as it was quite cool and humid ou...

Coco and Milo played their game of tag again at the creek today.  Rucksack also ran through the water, though he didn't get anyone to chase him.  Benny, as always, was mellow throughout the entire hike.

Sputnik and Rucksack were at it again, racing around the bridge and through the creek.  They're starting to figure each other's moves out now and they're taking differe routes to throw one another off.  It's fun to watch them try to outsmart each other.  Oliver and Benny also just sat back and watched their packmates go.

Coco and Milo played a game today wherein Milo would stand his ground while Coco waited, poised, a little distance away.  Coco would then dart by Milo and see how close she could get to him without being tagged with a playful bite on the butt or a shoulder-check as she ran by.  Osito kept up very well on our way up the mountain although he required several rest stops on the way back down.  Rucksack trotted along with the pack at a steady pace through...
