Milo, Mamacita, Rucksack, and Roger Roger all enjoyed a hike through the Chautauqua this morning in the cooler weather.  It's still getting pretty hot in the afternoons, but the mornings have been much milder which has left the pack panting less and less during our morning outings.

Benny and Milo followed along a little ways behind the rest of us on our way up the trail today.  Later on, Rucksack forged ahead in the lead while Benny continued to linger behind, especially whenever he found a shady patch.  Roger Roger was as eager as his packmates to drink from the CamelBak today.

Oliver always gets lots of attention from other hikers when he's out with the pack.  "Do you ever carry him?" and "Does he keep up with all the big guys?" are two of the most frequently asked questions.  meanwhile, Oliver is bounding along the trail with a smile on his face, sniffing around, and peeing on things.  I tell them he does fine.  If anyone wants to be carried on the trails, it's Benny; although that is a daunting idea.  Rucksack ...

Milo and Benny were happy to greet the dogs we passed while they were off-leash on the trails today.  Rucksack and Roger Roger were also very excited to say hello.  Later on, we sat down at a park bench for a few minutes and a couple people stopped by and gave pets and snuggles to the whole pack, who were very glad to indulge them.

Oliver and Benny took their time to greet people along the trails today.  Rucksack and Roger Roger were also happy to make new friends.  We encountered a couple friendly dogs who spent a couple minutes mingling with the pack and make sure everyone was thoroughly sniffed.
