Oliver and Milo explored the trail side-by-side off leash this morning while Benny kept me company.  When we stopped for a water break at one point, Benny happily lapped it up while Oliver wasn't interested and Milo opted to chomp on a nearby patch of snow instead.

Mamacita and Oliver were both a bit rude toward other dogs we encountered on the trail this morning.  Milo, on the other hand, gave friendly greetings.  Meanwhile, Benny stood at my side pleasantly and patiently.  It was a beautiful day for a hike, and Milo was making the most of it with great spirits.

Milo enjoyed wandering through the snowy fields alongside the trails this morning and romping in the snow.  Benny, Mamacita, and Isaac hiked on leash with me.  Mamacita was feeling playful at one point when she started bowing and hopping around in front of Isaac, who eyed her with some uncertainty and made a few moves in response.  I slipped on some ice at one point and as I sat for a second, Isaac tried to crawl into my lap.  Milo then came ove...

Isaac hauled a huge branch along for much of the hike this morning.  Meanwhile, Milo wandered over to the trail that ran parallel to the one we were on.  We had passed a dog that kept nudging him and laying his head over Milo's back shortly before, and I thought Milo was bothered by the harassment, but he went right over to the dog when they passed by on the other trail a little later.  I had to tell Benny not to eat some poop to which he got dangero...

Oliver, Benny, and Milo didn't really mind the wind this morning.  Milo found a nice big stick to haul for part of the hike.  Every now and then, Benny burst into an excited run.  Oliver headed up the pack but listened and came back whenever I called for him to wait on the rest of the group.  Then, as soon as I said, "Good boy!" he bounded up ahead again, eager to forge ahead.

Thompson was in a wandering mood on our hike this morning.  He went far off into the brush and stayed at a distance for most of the first half of our outing.  Meanwhile, Milo was following along right behind me.  When Thompson decided to rejoin us, I put him on the leash to keep him from wandering off too far again.  We came across some friendly dogs later on and Thompson and Milo were both excited to say hello and make friends.

Oliver lingered behind at the start of our hike, but once I convinced him to catch up he was happy to continue on ahead.  Benny and Oliver eagerly went ahead to greet dogs that we came upon along the trail.  Milo followed up behind them and then spent longer sniffing the other dogs out before catching up.  At one point, Milo's playful streak came out as he ran down a hill through the snow and threw clouds of it up in the air with his nose.

Benny and Milo had a great time together on the trail at CU South Campus this morning.  They both had plyaful bounces in their steps and it was a lot of fun to see them in such good moods.  Every now and then, Benny would leap and spin around in a goofy manner, then run to catch up.  Milo also lagged behind sometimes, and then ran to catch up, with a happy look on his face.  Not as goofy as Benny, but just as cute.

Yoda had a great time leading several big high-speed chases through the field alongside the trail this morning.  Rucksack stayed in close pursuit while Chunk and Chelsea followed not far behind.  I let Roger Roger off for a good long run with Yoda as well, but when Yoda wasn't keeping him entertained he harassed Benny and Chunk so he stayed on the leash most of the time.  At one point, Yoda sped by Benny and Benny started to playful leap, dart, and s...
