Benny and Wesley had a good time on the Red Rocks trails today.  At one point, when Benny came up out of the stream he and Wesley were walking through, he started running in circles and flailing around playfully.  Unfortunately, Wesley didn't take notice of him and Benny's steam ran out pretty quickly.

Sage and Benny wrestled around with each other playfully today.  It was great to see because Benny hasn't been that energetic lately and Sage usually isn't particularly interested in other dogs when I take her out.  After a little while, Oliver hopped in and tried to let the big dogs know who's raelly the boss.  He managed to get their attention a few times, but they didn't really heed him and kept playing with each other.

Benny and Wesley savored a long dip in the Creek early on during today's outing.  They both wanted to take a slow pace and thoroughly sniff out the path as we went.  We encountered a dog who wasn't very friendly and lunged at us when we passed by.  I was proud of Wesley and Benny for just stepping aside and not letting the outburst ruffle them.

Benny and Oliver had a pretty casual walk through town along the Creek today.  Oliver tried to run up to the dogs we walked by, though he didn't bark at them like he has in the past.  Oliver stayed out of the water when we made stops along the Creek, but Benny walked right in to cool down.

We walked along Boulder Creek again today and took a couple breaks along the way to hop in and get wet.  Wesley is always the first to hop in.  Sage followed soon behind, with Benny carefully stepping in behind her.  Toskey decided to stay dry for our first stop, and stayed on shore for a minute during our second stop before dipping her paws in the Creek.

Rucksack's limp was back so he, Sage, and I took an easy walk around Rucksack's neighborhood to let him work it out without straining it.  Sage has shown a slight limp in the same back, right leg intermittently in the last week, only for a few minutes after getting up from rest - just like Rucksack.  I hope everyone's feeling 100% again soon.

We met a Portuguese Water Dog along the path today and as he and Rucksack were saying hello, the other dog's leash somehow pressed against and opened the release on Rucksack's, causing it to come off.  Rucksack proceeded to sprint around for a couple minutes before calming down and coming back.  Sage got pretty worked up and wanted to chase Rucksack around before he settled down.  After that hiccup, the walk went smoothly.  La...

Rucksack had another good day walking without any noticeable limp.  I hope he's all better now!  The goose hissed at us yet again today, though with markedly less intensity than previously.  Sage wasn't even fazed.  She's been very calm even with all the people we pass along the Boulder Creek Trail.
