Adventure Pack
The pack moved a bit slower up the trail today as the sun was out and it has warmed up a bit compared to earlier in the week. Rucksack was eager to have a drink of water each time we stopped, while Roger Roger and Milo took a few half-interested laps and Ruffers avoided it.
Play Pack
Coco did a pretty good job of keeping up on today's walk along Boulder Creek. In the last stretch, we did pause for a couple breaks in the sh...

Adventure Pack
The creek that runs across the path up to the Anemone trai was all dried up today. I'm surprised, considering all the rain we have. I wonder whether it eroded a new path somewhere upstream. In any case, Mio looked on, dissapointed, when we walked down from the bridge and realized there was no water. Thankfully, it wasn't that hot of a day. Ruffers and Roger Roger hopped around with each other a bit. Rucksack was far less amorous ...

Adventure Pack
We were back to getting sprinkled on this morning, but Milo was still eager to spend some time wading in the stream! Ruffers, Rucksack, and Roger Roger were content to wait around at the water's edge until Milo was satisfied and we continued on up the Anemone trail. Rucksack took a very particular interest in Ruffers and spent much of the hike licking at her ears the way he has often done to Milo and some others; he didn't stop there, however, and attem...

Adventure Pack
It was still overcast but the rain held off during our hike around the Red Rocks trails today. Milo lingered in the stream briefly but didn't feel the need to wade in too deep. Yoda and Rucksack both got their paws wet, while Roger Roger waited on the bank with me.
Play Pack
Yoda, Ruffers, Isaac, and Sputnik all had a ton of fun playing at the park today. Isaac spent most of his time playing fetch, of course; althoug...

Adventure Pack
There was a light drizzle during our walk along Boulder Creek this morning. Milo, Rucksac, Roger Roger, and Yoda didn't mind getting a little wet. Rucksack was interested in the new addition to the pack and spent much of the walk licking Yoda's ears.
Play Pack
We also headed to Boulder Creek for this afternoon's walk and it was still drizzling lightly. Sputnik and Ruffers mouthed at each others necks a bit as th...

Adventure Pack
Milo, Chelsea, and Isaac all had a good hike up the Anemone trail today. Isaac and Milo again lingered in the stream for a while. When we neared the top of our route, Milo and Chelsea decided it was too hot to continue and both lay down in the shade of a tree. Isaac was less exhausted and stood by, waiting to move on - though he was happy to have a drink of water when he saw Chelsea lapping it up.

Ruffers, ...

Adventure Pack
We headed up the Anemone trail today. Isaac had a great time splashing up and down the deep stream, while Milo slowly waded through. Chelsea stepped in and got her paws wet but didn't submerge herself like her packmates did.
Play Pack
Thompson and Chunk both pulled a lot on our walk this afternoon, but they gradually got better as we went. The pack all handled themselves very well when two different passing dogs...

Adventure Pack
Milo stuck with the group today, but we actually discovered another wandering dog. Little Caliber, a Jack Russell Terrier, was far from his humans but I was able to get a hold of them from the number on his nametag and we met up along the trail. Rucksack was very curious about our honorary packmate for the day and kept sniffing him. Meanwhile, Thompson made it clear that he was mostly just interested in hanging out in the water today. Roger ...

Adventure Pack
Milo went on a solo mini-adventure during today's hike as he disappeared in the brush and didn't come back for 5-10 minutes. He was just a bit behind the group on our way back down the mountain and headed off in the direction of the stream, ignoring my calls to catch up with the group. When I walked back to where he started heading downhill I didn't see him. I walked up and down the stream calling with no sign of him, until he finally reappeared o...

Adventure Pack
Chelsea, my very first pack member, and her brother Chunk joined for the hike today since we are boarding them while their first human sibling is being born. Chunk did pretty well on his three legs and I think Milo and Chelsea were both happy to take a slow pace. Roger Roger had some energy to spare, though he didn't act restless. We didn't head as far up the mountain as usual and instead spent a good deal of time hanging out along the stream, whi...
